In the recipe I called for 16 oz of noodles, but if you like a lot of pasta you can use up to 24 oz without adjusting any other ingredients.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Diced Tomatoes:<\/strong> Make sure you do not drain the tomatoes as the juices add more flavor. For a more robust sauce, you can also use fire roasted tomatoes instead.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Onion: <\/strong>A yellow onion is great because it lends a touch of natural sweetness, but a white onion also works just fine. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cheddar Cheese:<\/strong> Shred the cheese right off the block for the BEST flavor and consistency.
